Your adventure begins as you enter the Resistance's hidden base on the planet of Batuu. The attention to detail in the queue transports you to a galaxy far, far away, with Resistance artifacts, droids, and familiar Star Wars characters surrounding you.
In Rise of the Resistance, you're part of a batch of new recruits joining the Resistance.
During the pre-show, Rey and Poe Dameron brief you on your mission. It's up to you to keep the vital secrets of the Resistance safe as you make your way to their secret base. But to succeed, you'll have to evade Kylo Ren and the First Order.
This attraction combines a thrilling variety of imagineering technology and brilliant storytelling that puts you right in the action.

Please note that the attraction involves dark environments, flashing lights, loud sound effects, light spinning and backwards movement, and motion simulation. While the attraction is generally suitable for all ages, and the speed of the attraction is mild, those who are very sensitive to motion simulators or backwards movement may find the ride a bit too intense or a trigger of motion sickness.

Once aboard the transport shuttle, your mission takes an unexpected turn when you find yourself captured by the First Order.
You're transported onto a Star Destroyer, entering a room surrounded by the imposing presence of Stormtroopers and First Order officers. Entering the Star Destroyer is one of the most thrilling experiences within Galaxy's Edge. The realism and scale of the Star Destroyer create a truly immersive experience, making you feel like you've stepped into the Star Wars universe.
Officers of the First Order will direct your party to an interrogation room. You'll wait in a brief queue during this part of the attraction. Take time to appreciate the details, including the appearance of more Storm Troopers, and of course, the authoritarian ruthlessness of the First Order cast members.
Once in your interrogation room, you'll come face to face with Kylo Ren. It's up to you to keep the location of the Resistance's base a secret.
Fortunately, some members of the Resistance are there to rescue you. They escort you to escape pods, driven by droids. This is where the adventure really begins, as you've got to escape before the Star Destroyer explodes.
As your escape pod navigates through the Star Destroyer, you'll encounter thrilling moments, including narrow escapes, explosive battles, and encounters with iconic Star Wars characters. The attraction seamlessly blends practical sets, audio-animatronics, and state-of-the-art technology to create a fully immersive and cinematic experience.
One of the highlights is the escape pod itself, which is a trackless vehicle. It weaves in and out of the various rooms of the Star Destroyer, and into and out of dangerous situations. There are sudden changes in direction and some brief spinning, but the overall speed is fairly mild.
The final sequence is one of the more thrilling, as your escape pod launches from the Star Destroyer. The ride suddenly becomes a flight simulator, and you rocket to the secret base, culminating in a crash landing.
After this one-of-a-kind experience, you're part of the Resistance, welcomed by Finn, as you depart your escape pod in the midst of the Resistance's secret base.
