The immersive theming of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is truly remarkable, transporting you to a bygone era of gold rush and frontier exploration. Marvel at the stunning rock formations, cascading waterfalls, and picturesque landscapes as you race through the canyons.
The ride vehicles themselves resemble vintage mine trains, complete with a rustic and charming design. Each train consists of several cars, allowing you and your fellow adventurers to experience the excitement together.
As you embark on this runaway train, hold on tight as you zoom through twists, turns, and thrilling drops. You'll find yourself immersed in the sights, sounds, and thrills of the Old West as you navigate the twists and turns of the track.
While Big Thunder Mountain Railroad provides a thrilling experience, it is generally suitable for most guests, including older children and adults. However, it's worth noting that the ride does feature attraction features sudden turns, quick changes in speed, and short, quick drops, which may be too intense for some young children or those individuals who are sensitive to motion.
Additionally, the roller coaster boards in a dimly lit mine shaft, which can be intimidating for children.
Finally, the chain lifts on the attraction are quite loud, so on three occasions the noise level may be problematic for guests with sensitivity to loud noise.
